Sylvar Technologies Inc. (Sylvar) develops and offers safe and environmentally-friendly biorational technology solutions for monitoring and controlling forest insect pests.

Sylvar's first product, Abietiv™ - an NPV baculovirus targeting the Balsam Fir Sawfly, has been used to control large infestations of this insect in Eastern Canada since 2006.

Sylvar's goal is to provide sound biological control products for the management of forest insect pests.
